A Facebook post about one African-American man’s interaction with his local police officers has gone viral for all the right reasons.
Steven Hildreth, Jr. is an African-American man who lives in Tucson, Arizona. He also happens to carry a concealed firearm wherever he goes (don’t worry he also has a permit) and he recently had a run-in with his local police because one of his vehicle’s headlights was out. After the confrontation, Hildreth, Jr. took to Facebook to tell his friends (and a lot of other people too) exactly what just took place and why he doesn’t buy into the rhetoric of the #BlackLivesMatter crowd.

Leading Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was asked about her scandal-ridden past and present by an unknown man at a Littleton, New Hampshire campaign stop on Thursday. The blunt question irritated Clinton while stunning a reporter and Clinton’s supporters in attendance.
Clinton told the questioner to go back three decades to the previous century and read up on her ancient history. Clinton also lied to the man by saying all the scandals ‘washed out’, covering up the numerous convictions and plea deals from investigations of the Clintons and their associates, including her husband former President Bill Clinton who copped a plea with a special prosecutor, was impeached, disbarred and held in contempt of court.

Three Lisbon Town Council seats are up for grabs on Nov. 3, including a District 1 seat. Kasie Kolbe is running against incumbent Mark Lunt. Both participated in a candidate event at the town office last week.
A popular topic was the 2015-16 Lisbon school budget, which the council has cut three times and sent on to referendums where they failed each time. A fourth budget validation referendum awaits voters Nov. 3.
Kasie Kolbe said she works hard and researches “just about anything and everything to make any major decisions” and doesn’t “leave any stone unturned.”

This is a case of blatant racism – but since the judge is black, and he wants to play a sorry ass race card, no one is going to say a thing. A judge that will not admit his own personal prejudices does not deserve to be on the bench. If it was a white judge vacating an all black jury, it would be a national scandal. Where the heck does he get off?
In April Louisville Judge Olu Stevens gave two armed robbers and home invaders a light sentence because he felt their three year-old baby victim was being racist.
The family said their little girl reportedly feared black people after the armed attack.

PORTLAND, Maine — Maine will receive federal funding for more than half of a project to upgrade railroad lines, which the state’s top transportation official said will make it easier to ship goods to and from the state.
U.S. Sen. Susan Collins announced Monday that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded the Maine Regional Railways Project $20 million to rehabilitate 384 miles of track, reducing bottlenecks caused by speed limits on certain parts of track by summer 2017, according to the grant application.
