ISIS and al-Qaeda leaders are dropping like flies!
(CBS) – The Pentagon says two U.S. airstrikes in Syria last week killed 11 al Qaeda operatives, including one with ties to Osama bin Laden and other senior al Qaeda leaders.
A spokesman, Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, said a single airstrike on Feb. 3 killed 10 operatives in a building used as an al Qaeda meeting site.

(D-MA) was sent back to her seat, saying that it was a political mistake for Republicans to do what they did. If only they had left it alone and let her do her thing, she wouldn’t have become the ‘hero’ that she is today.
Then, we find out that she’s got a book scheduled to be published in April, and her senate ‘martyrdom’ has only helped bring attention to herself and her book. Also, her poll numbers weren’t doing so well in her home state of Massachusetts, so maybe this episode of righteous indignation will make her more popular. Of course, it could also backfire.
While Warren piously invoked Coretta Scott King’s words in her judgment of Senator Jeff Sessions, one member of the King family the left wouldn’t dare consider consulting is Alveda King – Martin Luther King’s niece. They won’t talk to her, because she’s pro-life, and she’s not a race-baiter.

Miami, Florida police were called to an adult store where a man was swinging a pipe and threatening people. The man, Amer Abdelkhaliq told police he wasn’t doing anything. Police told him to leave the area, giving him the benefit of the doubt.
However, Abdelkhaliq refused to leave and started threatening to kill the police officers on the scene. According to the police report of Abdelkhaliq’s arrest, he began telling officers:

Protesters chanting in Spanish and English blocked an ICE van from leaving the ICE office on Phoenix Wednesday night in an effort to stop the deportation of an illegal alien, Guadalupe García de Rayos, who has been in the country for a reported 22 years since she was fourteen. García de Rayos is married and has given birth to two U.S. citizen children. She faces deportation for a 2009 felony conviction for criminal impersonation according to ICE.
The protesters surrounded the van with one man inserting his arms and legs in the wheel well. The man was reported to be have been arrested along with several other protesters when law enforcement moved in after a several hours long stand off and secured the van.

The state of Minnesota has rolled out the welcome mat for Muslim refugees at the urging of the state’s governor, Mark Dayton, who convinced citizens that they are better people than other states for doing so. After this happened, and despite President Trump’s travel ban, one man learned the hard way that the damage was already done when he walked out his front door for a cigarette and got a sickening surprise.
Leftists’ rhetoric is aimed at appeasing their personal agenda of overthrowing Trump at all cost, regardless of whose safety is at stake. Dayton fought tooth and nail for refugees, insisting that they wanted nothing more than a better life from where they were escaping. He was the guy to give it to them and feel as a hero to the wrong people and create victims out of those who may or may not have voted for these new neighbors.

Meet Joanna Palani, the gorgeous 23-year-old Danish student who burst onto the world stage after reports of her combat performance began to surface.
While women in the United States were busy mocking President Trump by wearing pink “pussy hats,” Palani was busy killing ISIS militants. Just how many militants are we talking about? According to the Mirror, she has killed 100 militants in her role as a sniper while fighting in Iraq and Syria.
The Mirror also reports that she believes that she has a $1 Million bounty on her head from ISIS as a result.
Vice reports that Palani is an Iranian Kurd who was born in a UN refugee camp in Ramadi, Iraq in 1993, after her family was forced to flee their home during the Gulf War. They moved to Copenhagen when she was a toddler.
Palani became a big fan of firearms at a young age as is custom with Kurds. “I love it,” she told vice, “it is my life. It is very normal for Kurds to learn to use weapons like this.”

RECAP TOWN COUNCIL MEETING – FEBRUARY 8TH

The following is a summary of the Town Council meeting held on February 8, 2017.

Under Council Orders, Resolutions, and Ordinances –

1. Fee Schedule Amendment (First Reading) – The Council decided that there were too many changes identified; so they postponed any action until February 21, 2017. This will give the Town Manager time to make the changes.

2. 2017 Speed Enforcement & Equipment Grant – The Council authorized the Police Chief to apply for grant by a vote of 6-0 with Councilor Albert excused. Lisbon has been pre-approved for $2,239.65 already.

3. Forfeited Assets – The Council approved $4,593.00 of forfeiture fund by a vote of 6-0 to be applied to the new cruiser. Casco Bay Ford raised the price of outfitting the new cruiser.

4. Authorization to Solicit Bids for Town Branding and Website Design – The Council voted 6-0 to authorize the Economic & Community Development Director to go out for bids on this project.

5. Authorization to Solicit Bids for the CDBG Downtown Revitalization Streetscape Project – The Council authorized the Economic & Community Development Director to solicit bids for this project by a vote of 6-0.

6. Lisbon Community Garden Ad-hoc Committee – The Council approved this committee by a vote of 6-0.

7. Dispatch Consolidation Discussion – The Council postponed this until February 21, 2017.

Under Other Business –

1. The Councilors provided a brief on department meetings attended.

2. The Town Manager announced a Sewer meeting on February 14, 2017.

3. Ryan Leighton briefed the Council on the first announcement by Siemen’s Energy Audit.

Under Appointments –

1. Heather Duley was appointed to the Recreation Committee by a vote of 6-0.

2. The following individuals were appointed to the Lisbon Development Committee by a vote of 6-0:

Lewiston –Due to the predicted storm, Thursday, February 9, and for the safety of members and guests, the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary meeting at the Ramada Inn, Lewiston is cancelled for tomorrow. On Thursday, February 16, Bates Business Manager, Edouard Plourde, will be the featured guest speaker. Lunch is $10 and available in the Fusion Restaurant. No reservations are required. FREEDOM FORCE: REPORT QUANTIFIES: Criminal Aliens Released Instead of Deported Kill Americans

According to the Miami Herald, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Department of State say 121 homicides could have been prevented between 2010 and 2014 had more immigrant convicts been deported.
This shocking number comes after a 2015 U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee document was reviewed by the el Nuevo Herald.
“This disturbing fact follows ICE’s admission that, of the 36,007 criminal aliens it released from ICE custody in Fiscal Year 2013, 1,000 have been re-convicted of additional crimes in the short time since their release,” according to a letter sent to the DOJ.

Remember California easily sided with Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in the most recent election, but still the vast majority of the state’s voters want to see Sanctuary Cities outlawed. The poll found that 82% of Republicans want the ban, 74% of Democrats, 70% of Independents, and, most surprisingly, 65% of Hispanics!

Employees of a hedge fund founded by liberal king George Soros, donated tens of thousands of dollars to top Republicans who fought against President Donald Trump in 2016, donation records compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics show.

One person has been arrested in Connecticut over the weekend due to protests over President Trump’s executive order restricting travel from several countries.
Protesters ended up blocking an ambulance which was carrying a critical patient to an area hospital. The stoppage may have affected the care the person received as medical professionals ended up performing a medical procedure normally performed in the hospital, in the back of the ambulance.

A mother of a sixth-grade student is outraged after her son was suspended for getting beaten up on a school bus for wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.
Gavin, 12, was filmed being verbally and physically bullied by his Parkway School District peers because he wore his political beliefs on a hat, on Wednesday, in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was suspended after the incident, although he was the one attacked. This caused his mother Christina Cortina to be outraged and she expressed concern over letting him wear the hat again.

Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska) and Susan Collins (R., Maine) have each benefited from contributions from the National Education Association. Collins received $2,000 from the union in 2002 and 2008, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Murkowski, meanwhile, has received $23,500.

That’s an option that some average citizens have wondered about as well, as it seems like it would afford the President an opportunity to craft individual orders that might address specific areas of the threat as the challenges to the President, which is all that this really is, continue and are forced to be more specifically defined. Perhaps they’re saving that option for a later date, if the leftists are able to stymie the White House, perhaps they have other reasons.
