– On Thursday, February 4, Chief of Service, Lee Gamache from Lisbon
Emergency, Inc., donated a new Blood Glucose Monitor to Lisbon High
School
Nurse, Elaine Daly. Lisbon Emergency provided the new equipment after
receiving word the school was in need of a new machine. “The new
Blood Glucose
Monitor means a lot for our students. With updated equipment we can
provide the
best possible medical care to anyone who walks into the high school
Clinic. We
would like to again thank Lisbon Emergency and Leland Gamache for
providing
this to our students," comments Daly.
Lisbon Emergency is a private, non-profit ambulance service providing 24-hour medical care and emergency transportation to the communities of Lisbon and Bowdoin. The service has also provided mutual support to the surrounding communities for close to 35 years.
