I won't beat around the bush,  The Fumed Department Head was none other then Lisbon Police Chief, David T. Brooks,  "Pompous Ass" definitely would be more fitting, but I shouldn't write that, But, oh well I did,  "Get Over It", believe that was the term he used a while back.

"Cough, cough, cough, ...   just a 'hair ball' !

Case in point:  Missing $32,500.00 for Economic and Community Development Department, With the Actions of, or rather lack of actions, of Maine's Attorney General Office, under leadership of Janet Mills,  AG Assistant Brian MacMaster's, Androscoggin County District Attorney Office, David Croteau, Lisbon Police Chief David T. Brooks,  and the paper trail of letters that show passing of the BUCK,   COLLUSION   jumps to mind as a GREAT explanation.

Simply,  HOW CAN THIS NOT BE the reason?

GOOD GRIEF PEOPLE!   This all went on while Lisbon was under the guidance of the Chief of Police because he was acting town manager, again,for the second time.
Huh,, the chief of police was town manager?
Yes he was, not once but twice and then the town councilors even voted and approved a "spa weekend" away for him under the guise of a thank you for his dedication and hard work.   Brilliant,  just Brilliant.

  No conflict of Interest there.  Nope,   none because  WHY?

Who were the players then?

What else  went on?

Oh Yeah!  Almost forgot about this one.   Remember the NEW TRUCK for Public Works?  And how I brought out the fact of  the SPLIT P/O's to circumvent the public vote for an expenditure exceeding $100,000.00 of MUNICIPAL FUNDS,  and it was Cheered upon as being OK by town council then.  BECAUSE the town's attorney then and currently, Roger Theriault gave his blessing of APPROVAL.

How Much Money Has Brooks sucked out of your community for programs that end up costing you much more in the long run then they are worth, all in the name of  'self-promotion'?

Funny how they even all got together last year for banquet nite and gave out "atta boys".

What about  VIPS,  Volunteers In Police Service,  Check on the Elder Program, and OTHER community Out Reach Programs, that the Chief has so blatantly promoted and touted over years past?

How did those FAIL for this particular scenario?

EFFECTIVENESS of POSITION or PERSON(s) should be seriously considered.

Just think of the money that could be saved by combining the fire chief and police chief position into one Public Safety Directors position.  Think of what you could save in just Vehicle Expense.

No not in Lisbon though,  Hell the so called Leaders, Try to push through a budget that at best is still controversial.  Fortunately, It got tabled last night but still,   setting the tone and putting it on the agenda before it had taken it's natural course of progression through the system just reeks of IRRESPONSIBILITY.


There is NO EXCUSE, acceptable for the recent events that occurred in Lisbon, Bowdoin, or however Brooks wants people to read  'his story'.   The Truth is, IT is the same Old Story and People are just SICK of IT.


Simply Put,  If most of the so called leadership in Lisbon didn't ALL have their Hands in the cookie Jar,  YOU WOULD have stood a chance to  Correct situations like you have, BUT you can't, because THEY DO.

Firing People and Paying the so called buy out cost WOULD be a whole lot less expensive then to let them continue with 'hair brained' ideology that HAS been proven damaging and costly to the Fine Taxpayers of Lisbon.

LEAVE LISBON.   LIFE WILL GET BETTER

Look here it already has for one former player.




 AND this year,  They have inflated the Public Works Budget this year under the guise of Making the Police Budget look smaller.   Segregate hydrant rental, street light costs, and various little charges and you will see the TRUE facts.

Remember this saying, " Figures Lie and Liars Figure".

It is nothing more then "smoke & mirrors, "dog & pony" or in this specific case, "Cats & Elder Sham"

I can only wish and hope that the town side could have been as  professional and concise with transparency as the school budget has been presented.



GO BACK,  Research,  connect the dots,  it is not difficult to see.

The question remains for all,   "Are you willing to see?"

Apparently most of you ALL like it.  NO ONE even Challenged  Gina Mason!
