Positive Thinking

In today's Lewiston Sun  (Pg.B) " Lisbon citizens' group focuses on Positive" our highly paid ( what does he do to show he is productive) economic development director spoke about the results of a study paid for by the taxpayers.

      After criticizing  the Lisbon businesses, for they have to change their attitudes BUT it is announced a roofing job was awarded by the town of Lisbon to a contractor from out of town.Is there a contradiction here or Am I missing something??? Also in today's article this paid study made recommendation for a need of new restaurants--isn't ironic that Grazino's closed, MAD MIKE put in $1 million to renovate( how busy is he now?)..Didn't Economic Development lose 5000 & $10,000 on two FAILED restaurants loans ?:?

    Why are these overpaid nonproductive clowns MAKE UP work to look productive & waste money at the same town-- & not be accountable???!! 

As for the roofing job is given to the lowest bidder even below the budgeted amount,will it be guaranteed he will be available to correct any problems. Sometimes one gets what they pay for? Were the local contractors encouraged to come closer to the budgeted amount so the bid can still stay local?

    The study also suggested home garden be developed to complement the the two big business on Rt 196...Is Janosco's business count?
