Herbal Medicine Making for Children's Health

Mischa Schuler will be coming to Milestones on March 6th at 7PM to lead
a medicine making workshop for remedies that are beneficial for
children's health. We will learn how to prepare and work with herbs in
your own home. We'll each be going home with a salve we prepare in
class, and we'll be learning the background of how to prepare an alcohol
tincture and then having the hands-on experience of making one and
pressing one out. In addition, we will be tasting teas for kids and
experiencing a few sly ways to get teas and tinctures into
unenthusiastic little mouths! You'll go home feeling inspired and
confident!
Mischa Schuler is a community herbalist with a joyful practice
specializing in women's reproductive and sexual health before, during,
and after pregnancy, when healing from a miscarriage or abortion,
healing from sexually transmitted disease, or healing tissues involved
in fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, and PCOS. She also counsels on
choices around natural contraception and general emotional and
physiological health. She works with adolescents to support the
menstrual cycle, ease allergies, and improve skin concerns. And, she
works with children and infants to support the immune system in cold and
flu.
