Tonight history was made in Lisbon. The Municipal budget that is always arranged and voted on by the Town Council was, in fact voted down. Now the town must operate on the Manager's Budget.

What is the "manager's budget?" is that the previous years budget?
The town / school / total budgets are as follows at this point. the town will go with the managers numbers month to month until the town council passes a budget:
Town Total $ 8,092,366.00
Town % Change +10.42%
School Local Total $ 5,689,789.00 (This years bond payments (Gym/Track) are included in this number.
School Local % Change -0.41%
Total Budget $ 13,782,155.00
Total Budget % Change +5.68%
Town % of Total 58.72%
School % of Total 41.28%
Town $ Increase / (Decrease) 763,403.00
School $ Increase / (Decrease) (23,147.00)
Total $ Increase / (Decrease) 740,256.00
If X-town manager Steve Eldridge had still been town manager, his whole head would have been red and ready to explode! He would have stormed out of the town office. Instead, Interim Town Manager Dale Olmstead came of the meeting all smiles.
Congratulations to Dillon Pesce, Chris Brunelle, Eric Metivier, and Mark Lunt for a job well done! ! !
