Lisbon High School Senior Wins 2015 Moxie Festival Logo Contest

May 13, 2015, Lisbon, Maine.  The Moxie Festival Committee is pleased to announce that Lisbon High School Senior Hannah Stritch has won the 5th Annual Moxie Festival Logo Contest based on the 2015 theme, “Celebrate Moxie the Maine Way.” 
 
“Hannah’s logo includes iconic symbols of summer in Maine.  Moxie is part of these Maine memories for Mainers and thousands from away.  We are proud to showcase Lisbon High School talent at the Moxie Festival,” said Tracey Steuber, Town of Lisbon Director of Economic and Community Development.
 
Hannah received a $100 check and the first 2015 Moxie Festival t-shirt featuring her design at a High School Assembly held May 8.
 
Floats for the Moxie Festival Parade on Saturday, July 11th will be judged on their interpretation of the theme, “Celebrate Moxie the Maine Way.”  The Moxie Festival parade starts at 10 am at Capital Avenue, travels down Rt. 196 and up Main Street before concluding at North and South Streets.
 
According to Lisbon Public Safety Officials, over 50,000 people attend the three-day Moxie Festival.  The Town of Lisbon has approximately 9,077 residents.
