TOWN COUNCILORS AND THE TOWN BUDGET

 

Larry Fillmore asks in his latest article what Council Chair Roger Bickford and the town council are doing to reduce the town budget?

 

They have been working REALLY HARD, BY REDUCING THE SCHOOL BUDGET!!!!

 

But, as Larry said, they have done nothing to reduce the town side of the budget

 

Perhaps it is time to bring back the Budget Advisory Committee.  But we all know that will never happen.

 

              Where has Governinment of The people,

              By the People, and For the People gone?

 

 It is certainly not here in Lisbon ! ! ! !

 

I am very dissapointed in theTown Council, and especially the new members.

 

With them I had high hopes for the future of Lisbon.  It did not take them long to join the "Lisbon good old boy's club".
