There is a profound and unshakable bond between those that have served, regardless of which military branch or even which country, especially if they’re allies.

It’s that unique understanding between warrior’s, “brothers in arms” and even within that oath of allegiance, which draws a distinct difference between the politician taking office who sacrifices little, and the individual entering the military, in that although the words are similar “to protect and defend” only those that wear the uniform will actually make the ultimate sacrifice, for God and country.
