VROOM! Townhall: Two Million Bikers Plan Their Own 9/11 March to Washington D.C.

By now you've probably heard about the "Million Muslim March" coming to Washington D.C. on 9/11. Last week Chris Phillips, the organizer of the march, appeared on Hannity and refused to condemn hateful groups like the Muslim Brotherhood while arguing the U.S. government has been hateful toward Muslim-Americans since 9/11/2001.

Now in response to the march, bikers are also planning to show up in Washington D.C. on 9/11....with two million people.

Thousands of America’s patriotic bikers are organizing an enormous counter protest to the planned Million Muslim March on DC this Sept. 11.

The Facebook Page, “2 Million Bikers to DC,” has over 18 thousand “likes,” as of Thursday morning and individual state chapters of riders have launched pages on Facebook, as well.

The bikers are riding “To remember those who were killed on 911 and honor our armed forces who fought those who precipitated this attack,” the Facebook page said.

Here are the objectives for the ride, which will be peaceful.

Everywhere I go I see sex. It’s on billboards, store-front windows, the way women dress (or don’t dress) on television, in the movies. It’s on my computer screen to the point where I need a special software tool just to keep it from popping up (no pun intended). To someone on the outside of America looking in, it would appear that sex “owns” America.

So, why then, are we surprised at “the rise” (and fall and rise again) of Anthony and his Weiner? I’m sitting here in an internet café (and when someone walks in I glance up just to make sure they’re not pointing a gun at me) and I have to admit that most of the women who walk in here are dressed quite modestly. I really don’t believe most women want to get into Anthony Weiner’s pants. Of course, some men like to fantasize that women want them, but it’s just not true. Let’s face it – most rapists are men.

On the other hand, sex sells. That can’t be debated. Men, have you ever wondered why so many strangers are interested in the size of “your package”? Come on! Give me a break here! I don’t want a nutritional all natural supplement to make her happy and give her the size she deserves! That’s just gross! But, people wouldn’t be making and marketing this snake oil unless men were buying it.

7/22/13 - A New Haven, Connecticut businessman was savagely beaten so bad by a gang of black teens that he doesn't even remember the incident. Yet the media isn't picking up the story and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson haven't been heard from on this. Oh that's right, it's black on white, not white on black. Never mind about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Even though the local news doesn't mention that the teens were black, the following article does:

According to a New Haven Police press release, witnesses said "between five and six black male teenagers rushed him, pushed him from the moving scooter, assaulted him, and fled with the scooter."

Macquarrie received 31 stitches and 8 staples in his scalp, two fractured ribs, a fracture to his right eye-socket, a broken nose and scrapes to his hands and legs.

In his first encyclical letter, released this morning, Pope Francis has reiterated that marriage is a union of one man and one woman for the procreation and nurturing of children.

This lifelong pledge is possible only in the light of a greater plan for marriage, he said: “Promising love for ever is possible when we perceive a plan bigger than our own ideas and undertakings, a plan which sustains us and enables us to surrender our future entirely to the one we love.”

Titled Lumen Fidei (The Light of Faith), the encyclical is known to have been authored mainly by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, who was still working on it at the time of his abdication and it strongly reflects the theological style of Francis’ predecessor. In his introduction, Pope Francis wrote that he merely “added a few contributions of my own.”

PPH: 2013 Maine Moose Lottery

More than 52,000 moose permit applicants found out whether or not they were one of 4,110 moose lottery winners on Saturday. The moose hunting permits were drawn by the Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife in Greenville. The permits were allocated in the annual lottery for the fall hunt that helps thin the statewide moose population, now believed to be 76,000.

This clip includes original film footage of the crews on the historic "Doolittle Raid" of WWII, which proved to the US and the Japanese Empire that America could and would strike back. The special event was attended by over 200 people to welcome "Grumpy" the worlds oldest B-25 bomber back to the United States and into the Historic Flight Foundation collection.
