"Not Evil Just Wrong is the film Al Gore and Hollywood don't want you to see. It reveals the true human cost of Global Warming hysteria.
Not Evil Just Wrong shows how Global Warming alarmism and the tax increases that go along with it are going to increase costs for working families during one of the worst recessions in living memory.
Al Gore and his allies want to ban fossil fuels in the developed world. This would devastate the American economy and drive jobs to India and China.
Be part of the resistance. With your help we can bypass the barriers to distribution that Hollywood and the mainstream media put up to stop you from hearing the truth.
Be part of the premiere night by hosting a screening in your home, community center or church. Be part of the cinematic tea party movement and tell Al Gore and the elites that you are fed up with taxes and restrictions that threaten jobs across the country"Above as quoted from the website: www.noteviljustwrong.com
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW, JUST ASK
By coincidence I read the Letter to the Editor "A Citizen Misses Going To
The Mall, (Transfer Station) before heading to the transfer station myself.
I saw the signs that the swap shop is closed, so I asked one of the
attendants Why? He said they had to close it due to insurance reasons.
While inspecting town buildings etc. recently the Town of Lisbon's new insurance
provider said it had to go. I just spoke with Mr. Wayne Ricker and he
verified that was partly the reason for closing down the Swap Shop. The
other reason was because a lot of the stuff left there was just junk that
no-one wanted and the attendants had to clean up. He said that they would
"look at it again next spring".
So, a word to the wise, if you want the town Swap Shop to continue think carefully
before placing items there.
Is it still usable, or in such bad condition that no-one else could use it?
Timing. Don't just dump leftover yard sale or flea market stuff just before
closing, especially on Saturdays, and/or when rain is expected. Items there
are not under cover and who would want a soggy mess?
Let's not spoil a good thing. Recycling is good for our purses, and for the planet.

OFFICE OF SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
Lisbon School Department
Richard A. Green, Interim Superintendent
October 14, 2009
Dear Parents,
This letter is intended to provide detailed information regarding the ordered lock-down at all three schools yesterday afternoon. The Lisbon Police Department contacted the High School and Middle school immediately after a robbery was reported at the Androscoggin Bank around 1:30 P.M. As a safety precaution, the Lisbon Police Department also ordered a lock-down at the Lisbon Community School around 1:45 P.M. The lock-down order was removed at all three schools around 2:05 P.M. which is close to the regular dismissal time for the High School and Middle School. Specific details about the incident were not available until 6:00 P.M. last evening when I received an informal report. Detective Bernie McAllister of the Lisbon Police Department informed us today that an arrest has been made.
The safety of our students is our utmost concern. I want to thank the Lisbon Police Department, Students and Staff for their cooperation. Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s school office with any questions or concerns related to this incident.
Sincerely,
Richard A. Green
Interim Superintendent of Schools
