“I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Kelly told Variety.
Kelly says she’s had a “great 12 years” at Fox and really likes working for the network’s chairman Roger Ailes, but is also weighing the drawbacks of the job as it comes time to negotiate.

FREEDOM FORCE: What’s Wrong with Directly Electing the President of the United States?

A stealth effort in state legislatures would essentially eliminate the Electoral College and undermine the carefully considered structure set up by the Framers to elect our president. And it would do so without amending the Constitution.
Many Americans may forget that when they vote in November, they are not voting directly for the candidates. Instead, under Article II, they are voting for electors who have pledged to vote for particular candidates. Each state has electors equal to the number of senators and representatives the state has in Congress. Thus, even the smallest states with the least population, places like Montana and Vermont, get at least three electors (as does the District of Columbia).

FREEDOM FORCE: Virginia Gov McAuliffe Restores Voting Rights For 200,000 Felons

Democrat Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe signed an executive order Friday restoring voting rights to 200,000 felons.
The law will allow about 200,000 felons who are no longer in prison, on probation or parole, to vote, the Washington Post reports. The decision could face legal challenges, though McAuliffe expressed confidence in his legal authority to issue the order.
“VA cannot achieve its full potential until all men and women are eligible for this fundamental right,” McAuliffe said on Twitter, adding that, “Virginia will no longer build walls and barriers to the ballot box – we will break them down.”

Hanover (Germany) (AFP) – Tens of thousands of opponents of a proposed transatlantic trade deal poured onto German streets Saturday on the eve of a visit by US President Barack Obama.
A loose coalition of trade unions, environmentalists and consumer protection groups in the northern city of Hanover said they drew a crowd of 90,000 to a march and rally outside the city’s opera house.
Police mobilised a large force to keep the peace and put attendance at 35,000.

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU VOTE FOR??????

The question is what qualities are you looking for when you vote for our elected officials? Each of us has different criteria we are looking for in our leaders. For me, I am looking for a person who has integrity and whom is willing to put the needs of Lisbon before their personal agenda.

However, in order for these leaders to make sound decision; they first must have ALL the facts. In Lisbon, this does not happen because of the Council Working Rules restricting when information can be introduced to the Council. This is the primary reason Lisbon has so much social media. This is the ONLY method of keeping the citizens informed as to what is going on in this community.

Social media’s function is to keep the people informed as to what goes on in town. Social media provide facts and decisions for their elected officials. It would be better if people came to the meetings and workshops and provide valuable input to the Council and School Board.

I know that people like Mr. Richard Main and Susan Smith comment on articles written on social media. I assume that because they do not always agree with my articles, they must be providing our elected officials with their recommendations. It takes the entire community working together to make Lisbon a better place to live and raise our kids. We all need to provide our expertise and knowledge to improve our community.

Right now, we have a situation that needs all of us to put our heads together and find a solution. This is why our Town Council is NOT making any attempt reduce our taxes. The Council appears to be content with the reevaluation and a $677,373.00 increase over last years proposed budget. I for one have offered several solutions to offset this increase. I am sure many of you have also contacted your Councilors offering solutions. So why are they not listening?

On the other side, the School Department has already reduced this year’s proposed budget by roughly $718,500.00. So why is the School Department working hard to provide some relief to the taxpayers and the Town Council is NOT?

I remember the fiasco the Town Council put the School Department and the people through last year over the School budget. It does not any sense to me for the Town Council to NOT try and reduce the municipal side. Also, according to Chairman Bickford, the question of whether or not to close the Lisbon Communication Center and save the town between $165,000.00 and $365,000.00 has to go on the November ballot for the people to decide. I thought that was why we elected the Town Council to make those decisions. Apparently, the question is too difficult. I believe it is a no-brainer. The Dispatchers are not 911 qualified nor are they qualified as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher. This means they are unqualified to provide EMT’s with the Emergency Medical Code needed to expedite lifesaving procedures.

Call your Councilors today and tell them your feelings on this and see if they can reduce our taxes this year.

The issue of Planned Parenthood’s sale of baby parts for profit became a major issue this past summer when the pro-life Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a series of videos revealing executives of the country’s largest abortion mill discussing and negotiating with prospective buyers (who were really actors).
Ever since, pro-abortion advocates have been defending Planned Parenthood with claims that the videos were edited. One pro-abortion Senate candidate in California named Kamala Harris, who is presently the state’s Attorney General, ordered a raid of the home of CMP founder David Daleiden and seized videos that hadn’t yet been published.

While the President of the United States is seemingly taking the side of radical Islamists, and working to weaken and destroy the fundamental principles that Western civilization and society are built upon, other leaders are stepping up to lead the fight against the destructive and murderous ideology.
The United Kingdom’s Prince Charles is in the middle of a week-long tour of the Middle East, where it is expected that he will deliver a strong message to Muslim leaders regarding the prevalence and growth of the radical Islamist mindset.
According to news the Crown Prince intends to demand that Muslim leaders in the U.K, and around the world, stop radicalizing young people, and to show some respect for Western culture and values.

Townhall -The CIA’s new policy will bestow “enhanced death benefits” for contractors and employees who have worked for the agency starting in the 1980s. As for Doherty’s family, they are expected to receive around $400,000. Doherty’s sister, Kate Quigley, said she was “thrilled” to receive the phone call and is excited that the new program will help dozens of other families.
The House Select Committee on Benghazi was especially adamant about helping the Doherty family in their effort to receive government aid and thankful to learn the CIA had changed its policy.
“I am glad the agency made this decision so the Doherty family and others who have lost loved ones in service to and sacrifice for our country will finally receive the recognition and honor they deserve,” said Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) in a statement.

Victoria Westeney was suspended for 9 months from her NHS health care career after giving her Muslim coworker a thoughtful gift.
After a Christian woman had developed a friendship with a Muslim female colleague, she decided to express her gratitude by giving the woman something that was very special to her. However, as soon as she handed the Muslim woman the thoughtful gift, the recipient took one look at it and reported the gift giver to authorities, causing the Christian woman to lose her job and be found guilty of “harassing and bullying.”

State Department officials removed files from the secretary’s office related to the Benghazi attack in Libya and transferred them to another department after receiving a congressional subpoena last spring, delaying the release of the records to Congress for over a year.
Attorneys for the State Department said the electronic folders, which contain hundreds of documents related to the Benghazi attack and Libya, were belatedly rediscovered at the end of last year.
They said the files had been overlooked by State Department officials because the executive secretary’s office transferred them to another department and flagged them for archiving last April, shortly after receiving a subpoena from the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
The new source of documents includes electronic folders used by senior officials under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. They were originally kept in the executive secretary’s office, which handles communication and coordination between the secretary of state’s office and other department bureaus.

How bad is Hillary Clinton’s image? This bad:
Fifty-six percent of Americans view her unfavorably, according to the Huffington Post pollster trend.
One-third of New York Democratic primary voters say she is neither honest nor trustworthy.
Her image, writes Dan Balz, “is at or near record lows among major demographic groups.”
Like, all of them.

Among men, she is at minus 40. Among women, she is at minus 9. Among whites, she is at minus 39. Among white women, she is at minus 25. Among white men, she is 17 positive, 72 negative. Her favorability among whites at this point in the election cycle is worse than President Obama’s ever has been … Among African Americans nationally the NBC-Wall Street Journal poll shows her with a net positive of 51 points. But that’s down 13 points from her first-quarter average and is about at her lowest ever. Among Latinos, her net positive is just two points, down from plus 21 points during the first quarter.

You can’t deny those Texans. The whole scene –motorcycle, a back pack, the policeman, motorcycle helmet, and the other“three” all in the same photo! Three armed felons crossed the US border and attempted to rob an off-duty El Paso police officer dressed in civilian clothes while he stood in front of a bank.
The plan was for two of them to grab his backpack and toss it to an accomplice on a stolen motorcycle.
However, the well prepared police officer shot all of them, killing two immediately.

Republican National Convention delegates from the District of Columbia who are bound to or supportive of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) tell Breitbart News that they are open to supporting Donald Trump instead.
Some are making the pitch that they want Trump to pick Rubio as his vice presidential candidate, but nonetheless the warm comments many of these Rubio delegates are making about Trump—instead of about Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is perhaps a sign of a turning tide in the delegate game after Trump captured at least 89 delegates in New York last night.
“I think him choosing Marco [as vice president] would make me more inclined to support him, in a more positive way, a more active role in campaigning because I really love Marco,” said Teri Galvez, a bound delegate from D.C. who the D.C. GOP says is bound to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, in an interview with Breitbart News this week.

COUNCIL WORKING RULES!!!

One of the greatest examples of the abuse of power by the Town Council is the Council Working Rules. The latest Council Working Rules were designed to prevent citizens (legally referred to as shareholders) from providing valuable input to the Town Council prior to the Council voting on agenda items. These rules were changed in 2011, to give total control to the Town Council.

Under the “Good Old Boys” network, these prominent citizens, who have placed their friends and neighbors on the Town Council, to have complete control at all times. This ensures all decisions meet with their approval. This procedures also prevents RESIDENTS have providing relevant input to the agenda items. You see, years ago the agenda item was briefed by the sponsor, Councilors discuss their concerns and then the citizens were provided an opportunity to provide their input prior to the Council voting on the item. This method is called a democracy and is best described in Maine Revised Status Title 13-C, statute 708, Conducting of Meeting, paragraph 3. Fairness of rules states “Rules adopted for the meeting and the conduct of a meeting held pursuant to this chapter must be fair to shareholders. The Town of Lisbon is Incorporated and therefore the residents are the shareholders.

The current Council Working Rules are not in compliance with this statute. Now the ONLY time residents can address agenda items is during Audience Participation. This means residents must speak without the knowledge of why the sponsor is changing the item and before hearing the discussion between Councilors. In other word, citizens are required to speak without knowing what they are talking about. These procedures are in direct violation of Maine Statute on “Fairness of Rules”.

The residents should have a direct input into agenda items that are before the Council for consideration. Direct input is part of the Mission Statement of the town. How can citizens participate in the decision making process if they are NOT allowed to speak during the discussion on the agenda item? This current Council Working Rule says that the Chairman may allow someone to speak if he wants too. In other words, citizens have to beg the Chairman for the right to speak on agenda items. We need to restore democracy back into our local government.

The current system is how the “Good Old Boys” network remains in control at all times.

FREEDOM FORCE: New Documents Prove Planned Parenthood Illegally Profited From Selling Aborted Baby Parts

New documents produced by a Congressional committee show the Planned Parenthood abortion business profited from the sales of aborted baby parts. The documents provide more evidence that a Center for Medical Progress video already put forward that the abortion company is violating federal law prohibiting the profiting from the sales of body parts from aborted children.

The Center for Medical Progress released an expose’ video earlier this year that caught the Planned Parenthood abortion business apparently using illegal accounting tricks to hide profits generated from the sale of aborted baby parts.

TIME TO GET OFF THE COUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisbon is known as a “bedroom community”. This means that it is a quiet, peaceful town to live in and raise our children. Residents rely on the Town Council and the Town Manager to run the town because regular residents have no interest in politics as long as it doesn’t affect them. It is about time people of Lisbon start taking an interest in THEIR community.

The people have been replaced with the “Good Old Boys” network comprised of a few dominant citizens. Now is the time for residents to get involved in the community and take an interest in improving our town.

A prime example is this year’s budget. On the Municipal side of the house, all the Department Heads have submitted their proposed budgets to the Town Council which is an increase of $677,373.00 over last year’s budget. This equates to a 1.6 mil rate increase. In other words, a spike in your taxes! I originally thought that once the proposed budgets were presented to the Town Council; they would review these budgets and determine what is vital and what is not. But looking at the budget schedule there are no dates to work on reducing these figures. Our Town Council is not going to make any attempt to reduce these figures or try to reduce our taxes.

However on the School side, they are working real hard to reduce their budget. Currently, the Superintendent and the School Board have cut three teachers and four positions. So far, they have reduced their budget by roughly $718,500.00. Remember the “Goat Rope” Councilors Bickford, Metivier, Brunelle and Crafts put the School Department through last year and how many times we voted on the School Referendum.

This is a clear indication as to who is running this town and where their priorities are. Residents need to start attending Town Council meetings and voicing their concerns about the taxes and priorities in this town. Citizens of this town need to take an interest in their community. Making improvements to the town will go a long ways making it a better place to live.

Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus told Greta Van Susteren tonight that if Donald Trump goes to the Cleveland convention with 1,236 delegates and not 1,237 it’s not enough for him to win the nomination.
Reince Priebus: If you win a plurality that means everyone else has a majority… You have to get a majority. So if people don’t understand that a majority in our party is what it takes to be the nominee then I don’t know how to explain it any differently.

Priebus also would not comment on Ted Cruz going into states Donald Trump won and stealing delegates. The party likes to pretend this isn’t happening.
