Lewiston CareerCenter Hosts Monthly Job Fair

Lewiston – The Lewiston CareerCenter, a Maine Employment Resource Center located at 5 Mollison Way, in Lewiston, hosts a monthly Job Fair featuring over 30 employers.  The event is held the first Monday of the month from 10:00 a.m. until noon and is open to the public at no charge. Linda Roberts, a Business Employment Consultant at the CareerCenter, organizes the event and is currently accepting registrations for the Monday, August 1 Job Fair.  “Each month a variety of employers, all of who are hiring, are on hand to talk with job seekers”, shares Roberts.  “We encourage job seekers to attend with a resume and an elevator speech prepared for  interview-like conversations and dress to impress prospective employers.”  FMI on the Job Fair contact Linda Roberts at 753.9066 or email linda.j.roberts@maine.gov.
