Middle School Girls Soccer Results, 10/25/11, PWS vs Monmouth‏

 Ali Sult

 Team Captains with Coach Juliani

On Tuesday 10/25, Lisbon Sugg Middle School girls defeated the Mustangs from
Monmouth 2x1.
Chandler Riordan, Skye Cribbin, Sydney Douglas and Conchita Thomas fought
courageously to keep the 2x1 for the Greyhounds until the end of the game.
Midfielders played intensely to win the battle for ball possession in the
middle and pass the ball to the forwards, including Abby Gamache, Sam Bolduc
and Kipri Steele, who scored Lisbon’s winning goal by taking a very good
shoot close to the eighteen. Anna Willey and Kashimir Owen also helped the
Middle fielders.

The Offense line had a very intense first ten minutes, creating several
opportunities to score. It seemed like the goal was never going to come
until Hope Morse “pulled her special trick out of the hat” by crossing the
ball from the left in the far post. Katherine George carried the ball well,
fought for every ball and tried to use her powerful shot many times, but the
opponent's defense did a very good job blocking her. Emma Houle, who
assisted Hope in her first goal, and Makayla Tilley also helped the forwards
playing on the right side.

Lisbon Sugg middle school girls soccer next game will be on Thursday,
10/27/2011 against Winthrop, our last home game.

Why Some Men Have Dogs And Not Wives:

Why Some Men Have Dogs And Not Wives:
1. The later you are, the more excited your dogs are to see you.

2. Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.

3. Dogs like it if you leave a lot of things on the floor.

4. A dog's parents never visit.

5. Dogs agree that you have to raise your voice to get your point across.

6. You never have to wait for a dog; they're ready to go 24 hours a day.

7. Dogs find you amusing when you're drunk..

8. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.

9. A dog will not wake you up at night to ask, "If I died, would you get another dog?"

10.. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad in the paper and give them away.

11.. A dog will let you put a studded collar on it without calling you a pervert.

12.. If a dog smells another dog on you, they don't get mad. They just think it's interesting.

13.. Dogs like to ride in the back of a pickup truck.

And last, but not least:

14.. If a dog leaves, it won't take half of your stuff.
To test this theory:
Lock your wife and your dog in the garage for an hour. Then open it and see who's happy to see you.

Eldridge Proves He Is The Putz We Have Always Indicated To You The Citizens That He Is!.

ELDRIDGE EXPOSES HIMSELF PART 1

Click here to read the latest Town Newsletter

In the latest town Managerial Report, Town Manager Stephen (Evil) Eldridge exposed the methods he has been utilizing to keep the Town Council and the taxpayer's supporting his and his co-conspirators (Bowie and Brooks) agenda.  I want you to know what he wrote in his article it is completely true up until a point and this is what he does to further their agenda.  I have tried and tried to explain this to the Town Council but Bowie has them wrapped around his finger.  Only Councilor Cote has seen through this smoke screen.

As Eldridge mentions in the article the town has been bombarded with “Freedom of Access Act (FOAA)” by one person and that person is I.  I am not a mushroom, kept in the dark and feed crap.  The town is supposed to be transparent which means the taxpayers have a right to know what these people are doing with our tax dollars.  If you remember correctly, I was not involved until they raised our taxes two years ago.  Since then, I have been trying to find out why the town is spending so much and why we cannot reduce your taxes by reducing spending.  The town clerk and finance director have been extremely helpful in pursuit of the truth, however, when it comes to Chief Brooks and the retirement/rehire policy I was stopped.  Also when I started to look into the Economic Community Development Department’s outstanding loans I was stopped.  This made me very curious so I filed two law suits against the town, which were combined into one, to find out what the town does not want me to know.  The town was ordered by the judge to provide me the information requested on the retirement/rehire and a large portion of the outstanding loans.  It has been a struggle to get this information out of this supposedly transparent government.

There are only two pieces of information missing and that is the “Date of last payment” and the “Amount”.  The reason this it is so important is because the past history of the ECD with the $32,500 misappropriations, the illegal $150,000 dollar loan which has been paid back, and finally a current $200,000 dollar loan which is in question.  According to the article, my pursuit has cost the taxpayer over $7,000 dollars which is probably very true.  What he failed to tell you, this expense was created by the town attorney and Eldridge and not by me.  You see every time the judge issues dates for the attorney’s to have their briefs to her, Roger Therriault has failed to comply causing yet another court appearance.  Roger Therriault is and has been the problem since the beginning by providing bad information to the town.  This was clearly demonstrated by the judge proving me the information in the retirement/rehire suit and all but two parts of the second suit.  Keep in mind, neither Roger Therriault or Stephen Eldridge pay taxes in this town so they could care less about how much it cost.  The town attorney has been utilizing this delaying tactic for years while he rapes the citizens of Lisbon with legal fees.

The proof is in the pudding.  The town was forced to provide all of the information I requested, with the exception of the two pieces still in dispute, because according to the law, I was entitled to it.  This is why I have asked the judge to have the town pay my legal fees.  I am asking for nothing more than what it has cost me to retrieve information I was always entitled too.

This should have never come to this if the Town Council had done their job and told Eldridge to provide the information, unless they have something to hide.  This situation was created by two factors:  (1) I had the guts to challenge the town; (2) the town is hiding something.  What is it they do not want us to know?

This is the method of operation for Eldridge and Therriault.  Eldridge never presents all the facts; instead only presents the facts to further his agenda and Therriault utilizes delaying tactics to rape the citizen for legal fees.  We need to thank the town manager for finally putting it in writing so the people and hopefully the council can see what he and Therriault are doing to this town.

Stay tuned for Part Two.

ELDRIDGE EXPOSED HIMSELF PART 2

This is the second part of the “Eldridge Exposed Himself Part 1”.  I have outlined to you the deception and deceit Eldridge utilizes to manipulate the Town Council and to fool the people.  In his managerial report, he criticizes the people for expressing their feelings on blogs.  He believes the name calling is inappropriate and as he has stated “juvenile”.  I am guilty of this and my take on this is if the shoe fits, shut up and wear it, cry baby.  The terms utilized by myself and other reporters on the Lisbon News and the Lisbon Reporter are accurate.  This problem is the people we criticize know it is a true reflection of what they have done to this town and they deserve every bit of it and more because they are destroying the town of Lisbon.

If you do not believe me, let me prove it to you.  In the last year alone, the assessment dbase has been removed from the town web site; the people have lost the right to speak out on agenda items after the sponsors have explained it to the council and prior to the council voting on agenda items; there is no transparency in the town government; the bid process was removed from the town web site; we are not provided the agenda and documents for workshops; the minutes of the town council meeting leave off critical questions and answers because they do not favor the management of the town; they have misappropriated Economic Community Development funds and cannot find the money or who to blame; and they are forever hiding vital facts from the town council and the citizens of Lisbon. Can you imagine for one minute, the Chief of Police cannot conduct a thorough enough of an investigation to get a conviction on $32,500 being misappropriated?

Eldridge states there is only a small group of people which share our concerns in the town but he had better think again.  There are a few of us that are not intimidated by Brooks and Bowie and point out the facts.  My writings on the Lisbon News and the Lisbon Reporter was perpetrated byVice-Chair Councilor Pomelow taking away the citizens right to speak out on agenda items prior to a vote.  This was directed by Bowie as a way to censor the people from knowing what is truly going on with these agenda items.  Requiring citizens to address agenda items before the item has been fully explained clearly demonstrates the ignorance of Vice-Chair Pomelow and the rest of the council who voted for the changes to the council working rules.  The blogs Eldridge refers to in his article are the result and the only place concerned citizens have to express their feelings.

I have always provided the readers of the Lisbon News and the Lisbon Reporter with cold hard facts and only facts.  I have always and will always provide all the facts and will not spin the facts to support my side of an agenda.  I have asked the council on numerous occasions to make sure they have all the facts and not just the ones presented to them by Eldridge before making a decision.  This has never happened because Eldridge always covers it up and never before puts it on paper.  This managerial report clearly outlines the tactics Eldridge has been using to manipulate the people and the town council.

If you want to know the truth on any issue, read about it in the Lisbon News and the Lisbon Reporter because what you get out of the town council and the town manager is only what they want you to know.  There is no transparency in Lisbon and never will be until the town is rid of Brooks, Bowie and Eldridge.  Eldridge’s own admission in his managerial report, demonstrates how expertly he spins the facts and the truth.  I do not blame the town council for the deceit and deception in the town of Lisbon but I do blame them for not being able to see through the crap Eldridge has been feeding them for the past few years.

Thank you very much Evil Eldridge for publishing the managerial report and allowing me to expose how you spin the facts for your own agenda.

I believe I have provided the citizens and the town council with irrefutable evidence of the lengths Eldridge goes to, to keep the town council and the citizens of Lisbon in the dark by feeding them crap.

Middle School Girls Soccer Results, 10/20/11, PWS vs Hall Dale‏

On Thursday 10/20, Lisbon Sugg Middle School girls soccer lost with Hall Dale 2x3. In the first half Lisbon’s defense gave too much space to the opponents, and they took advantage of it by scoring 3 goals. Hope Morse’s goal, also in the first half, kept Hounds alive in the game. She kicked a precise crossed ball from the left in the far post after receiving a through ball from Abby Gamache. In the second half Chandler Riordan, Sydney Douglas and Conchita Thomas shut down Lisbon’s Defense, not allowing the Bulldogs from Hall Dale score any more goals. Midfielders started to win the middle and help the Defense, including Abby Gamage, Kipri Steele and Sam Buldoc. Katherine George once more displayed great talent by dribbling passing 3 players and scoring Lisbon’s second goal, putting the Greyhounds at just one goal to the opponent. After scoring the second goal, Lisbon started to dominate the match, creating many opportunities to tie up the game, but unfortunately the Bulldogs kept the 3x2 until the last minute. Lisbon Sugg middle school girls soccer next game will be on Tuesday, 10/25/2011 against Monmouth, on their turf.

Middle School Boys Soccer Results, 10/20/11, PWS vs Hall-Dale‏

The PW Sugg Greyhounds and Hall-Dale Bulldogs exchanged respectful salutations after a grueling 1-1 match on a rain-soaked Lisbon field. Perhaps the most evenly matched teams, these two battled for the second time fighting for every play from kickoff to the end of the game. Neither team made getting off any shots an easy task due to the impenetrable force of the defense typified by fullbacks like Lisbon's Jacob Fusaro. The only goal for Hall-Dale came on a spectacular corner kick in the first half from #34 Alex Guiou who put it directly in front of the goal where it was headed in by #10 Cameron Bell. Lisbon would then have to continue looking for a way through the Bulldog defense which proved much easier said than done but the tenacious Greyhound offense found a way and Left Halfback Austin Bedford put one in and denied a Bulldog victory. The [3-5-1] 'Hounds will prepare to face-off with Monmouth in an away game rematch Tuesday, October 25.

How economics has been corrupted‏

Lisbon,

This and That

THIS AND THAT

     Marine Sergeant, Shamar Thomas,. a real hero ! ! ! !
One man, one person, speaking out,
                against the New York police !! ! ! !
Speaking out for the thousands of protesters.
                          One man ! ! ! !
                    Think about it ! ! ! ! ! !

That's all it takes; one man, one person,
to speak out, for the many who do not dare;
        who say, who would listen?
All it took was one man, to stand up
           to the New York police.
Think about it, Lisbon citizens and taxpayers.
How many here in Lisbon are speaking out,
             watching out, for you?
Certainly not the majority on the Town Council ! ! !
      Not Town Manager Eldridge! !

They allow incompetence. They hire incompetent
people to run departments, and pay them well to boot!
Doesn't this make you want to start speaking out?
What are you waiting for?? ??

On another note:
The figures, prices quoted in a recent article do not
tell the entire story. I feel the pain at the gas pump as
do you. I just paid off my last winter's fuel bill, and the
same day ordered oil for this fall.
Who controls the price of oil per barrel?
It is not the President of the United States.
It is the investors on Wall Street! ! !
Big business decides where to build factories.
controls jobs.
What did you think the protests are all about? ?
           THINK ABOUT IT ! ! ! !

Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas on Countdown (1 Marine vs. 30 Cops)‏

Lisbon,

Yesterday morning we shared with you the dramatic confrontation
between Sgt. Shamar Thomas and approximately 30 police officers at
the Occupy Times Square protest. The video has gone viral around
the internet, and rightly so.

Sgt. Thomas went on Countdown w/ Kieth Olbermann to talk a little
more about what got him so upset and why he felt he had to do
something. Check out his story.

I really like this guy...

Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas on Countdown
A follow-up to '1Marine vs. 30 Cops'

Resistance is Victory

The Marine Corps veteran seen in videos shouting at New York City police officers during the ongoing “Occupy Wall Street” demonstration appeared Monday night on Countdown with Keith Olbermann to discuss the situation.

Sgt. Shamar Thomas, of the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, confronted a group of police officers and gave them a stern lecture at the top of his voice about how they should not be hurting peaceful American protesters.

“I’ve been to Iraq twice,” he told Olbermann. “I was in a riot in Rutba in 2004, where we had rocks thrown at us and after the rocks were thrown we didn’t go beating up people and arresting people. We treated them with a level of humility.”

Thomas questioned by the police wore riot gear and used batons against peaceful protesters.

“When people are just shouting, ‘We are the 99 percent, come join us,’ these are not chants that incite violence,” he noted.

When asked what the protest meant to him, Thomas said: “This is our time in our generation to change the greed that is in America.”
