CA Gov. Jerry Brown gives state power to inject 12-year-olds with vaccines without parental consent‏

In a state where you need parental permission for your child to take a school trip to a museum, Gov. Jerry Brown has just cemented his name in the Hall of Shame by signing a law that says 12-year-old children can give their own "consent" to be injected with Gardasil vaccines!
At the same time, Gov. Brown banned children under 18 from using tanning beds unless they have a note from their parents. Huh?
So wait a sec, let me get this straight: If you distribute raw milk in California, you're a felon, and you can't get a tan without a note from your mom, but if you're a 12-year-old student, you can give the state consent to be injected with vaccines without your parents even knowing about it?
Here's my full report on this latest insanity from the great state of California, where Governor Jerry Brown has just sold out the children of California to the criminal vaccine industry:

On the other side of the country in Washington D.C., things are just as crazy (if not more). Were you aware that the White House has now openly admited to maintaining secret kill lists of American citizens the government plans to murder? I wish I were making this up, but I'm not. Even Reuters reported on this. I have the link, and the transcript, and the video! You won't believe this until you read it yourself:

Continuing with the bizarre, do you really know how vaccines are made? Try monkey kidneys, spinal fragments and other stuff too gross to mention in an email. Here's how vaccines have really been made:

Weird! This video from the Atlanta Occupy Wall Street event shows a group of protestors locked in a zombie hypnosis ritual that smacks of a weird brand of Marxist mind control. Read the story and watch the video yourself to see:

Boatlifters: The unknown story of 9/11

By Katharine Herrup
The opinions expressed are her own.
Much has been written and said about September 11, 2001, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, but one story much less known is the one about the band of boats that came together to rescue nearly 500,000 New Yorkers from the World Trade Center site on the day the towers collapsed.
It was the largest boatlift ever to have happened – greater than the one at Dunkirk during World War II. Yet somehow a story of such large scale became lost in all the rubble. But a new 10-minute documentary called Boatlift by Eddie Rosenstein captures the boat evacuations that happened on 9/11. The film is part of four new short documentaries that were created for the 9/11 Tenth Anniversary Summit in Washington, D.C.
“Boats, usually an afterthought in most New Yorkers minds, were, for the first time in over a century, the only way in or out of lower Manhattan,” says Tom Hanks, the narrator of the film.
New Yorkers don’t really think of Manhattan as an island since everything from the basics to beyond your wildest imagination is so accessible — not typically a feature associated with island life. But on September 11, 2001, those trapped below the World Trade Center site who could not escape without swimming or being rescued by a boat were acutely reminded of that fact.

Episode: EPISODE 9 - Maine Exposed

Maine Exposed, hosted by Leon Bard, will broadcast a series of programs on public corruption. A video, documented by Tom Dunn, has recently been put out on the internet and prompted this series. These broadcasts will educate and inform the public that this pattern of public corruption depicted on Tom's video continues today. Officials named in Tom's tape continue to sit in their official capacity or were elevated to higher positions, including appointment to judgeship. This pattern of public corruption will take us into New Hampshire, New Jersey, and the Department of Justice, Washington DC.
Tom's impressive resume includes his recruitment into N.S.A.'s (National Security Agency's) A.S.A. (Army Security Agency), Far East, as filed agent with 330th A.S.A. as head of Top-Secret-Codeword operations as Non-Commissioned-Officer-in-Charge, member of the Baltimore P.D., and president/investigator for L.A.W., Inc., a citizen's advocate organization that exposed corruption at all levels and which was extremely successful. Dottie Lafortune who produced and hosted a public access t.v. talk show, The Maine Forum, in Biddeford, Maine, and a personal friend of Tom's, will join us in these discussions. Tom had been a guest several times on her program as was Philip Castora, a licensed Private Investigator, who gave a report containing his conclusions with respect to various public documents relative to his investigation into fraudulent confiscations of property through the concerted actions of city officials, bankers and the courts. This resulted in the pulling of the â??What Price Justiceâ?? program from the air and the black-out of public access to all producers. A copy of â??What Price Justice?â?? was mailed out to many of you across the country and you know the contents of that broadcast. We hope that this invite gets out to those of you and that you join us on this program. These broadcasts will be held on Wednesday evenings, series beginning on October 12, 2011, and will be most interesting and revealing. We hope to see you there.

Personal Message from the Host:
The main purpose of this conference call is to bring the truth to the people of Maine and across this country about the corrupt state, judicial and federal officials who are influenced by special interests where our citizens are getting abused and where the perpetrators find shelter under the state and federal Attorneys General do-nothing umbrella of authority. The dots will be connected to show a pattern of co-operation and obstruction of justice under color of legal authority between all levels of local, county, state and federal governments to sock it to us, intimidate and deny us due process. We are sitting ducks for official harassment and are getting wrongfully harmed, scammed, beaten, drugged or otherwise deprived of our life, liberty and property by a whole system of administrative terror which has grown up throughout the country.

How Strong Will The Lisbon Citizens Get When The Odds Are Against Them?

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke) The quote has been paraphrased over time for the common people to be able to accept. It originated from these writings of Sir Edmund Burke.

"It is not enough in a situation of trust in the commonwealth, that a man means well to his country; it is not enough that in his single person he never did an evil act, but always voted according to his conscience, and even harangued against every design which he apprehended to be prejudicial to the interests of his country. This innoxious and ineffectual character, that seems formed upon a plan of apology and disculpation, falls miserably short of the mark of public duty. That duty demands and requires that what is right should not only be made known, but made prevalent; that what is evil should not only be detected, but defeated. When the public man omits to put himself in a situation of doing his duty with effect it is an omission that frustrates the purposes of his trust almost as much as if he had formally betrayed it. It is surely no very rational account of a man's life, that he has always acted right but has taken special care to act in such a manner that his endeavours could not possibly be productive of any consequence."
Does this not describe your Town Council's Actions?

Americans Get Stronger When The Odds Are Against Them!

FROM THE PARALLAX PROPHECIES

by Ron Ewart, ©2011
(Oct. 10, 2011) — That’s right, you weren’t paying attention and the evil ones slipped in the back door and took over.  But is that any reason to throw your hands in the air and say, “….. what’s the use, we’re licked”?  Did all the men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice, give up their lives in all the wars since the Revolution so that contemporary Americans who found the road a little tough, would throw in the towel?  Tell that to the over 100,000 World War II American service men that are buried in Europe, and tell that to the some 20,000 or more that are buried in the Philippines or on the other Islands in the Pacific!  Tell that to the 600,000+ men and women who gave their lives to hold the Union together in the Civil War!  Tell that to the tens of thousands of men and women that have sacrificed their lives, their limbs and their minds in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan!  Tell that to the man or woman who came home from Iraq or Afghanistan and must now walk without legs, but he or she rises up and does it anyway!  Now that is real courage.
America survived one of its greatest internal conflicts where a nation divided decided it must go to war to settle the differences that raged between the two sides over states rights and slavery, in one of the bloodiest battles in its 235-year history, where brother fought brother and father fought son.
We survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and took on two evil nations in a World War with the might and courage of a brave and powerful nation.  In that conflict millions of non-Americans were saved from brutal dictators and perpetual enslavement, by the extreme sacrifice of exceptional and courageous Americans who gave their all on the front lines of Hell and in the factories at home.  The sleeping giant awoke and has vanquished those that interrupted his quiet, peaceful slumber.  The sleeping giant grows restless once again, but now with a domestic enemy.
We have come through Korea and Vietnam with significant scars, both to our soldiers in uniform and to our pride as a nation, from wars that weren’t fought to win, or should have never been fought in the first place.

Who Do You Trust? By Colonel Don Myers USMC (ret.)

More than a year ago, I wrote an article on the same subject and unfortunately it is time to write another one.  The next Presidential election is a little over a year away and the Republicans have been holding their debates to determine who will represent it in the next election.  Initially, Governor Romney was the leader for months, and then Governor Perry entered and he became the leader.  The straw poll in Iowa had Michelle Bachman leading, and then the straw poll in Florida had Herman Cain a huge winner.  New Jersey Governor Christie was encouraged to enter the race.  There does not seem to be a lack of personnel who desire to become our next President, while who is leading depends on the day.
The poll numbers for our current President Obama continue to fall, and there is some discontent from his own party.  Unlike the discontent from the right because of the growth of government and the endless spending, the left is upset because the President has not moved far enough to the left.  Unions are angry because he has not implemented “card check” that would give union implementation a great advantage.  Environmentalists are upset because he has not been able to pass “cap and trade”.  Other groups are upset because he has not ended the war in Afghanistan and Iraq and started one in Libya.
The next election will determine if we continue along the current road of spending and government growth or do we change direction and return to the role of limited government and individual empowerment.  If our founding fathers were present there would be no surprise which direction they would choose.  Remember, they added the first ten amendments to restrict the government.  The Bill of Rights restricted the government not individuals.  They knew that as government grew, individual rights restricted.
Trust is something that must be earned and it must be earned on a daily basis.  Think about the many individuals that you have been associated with over the years.  I can think of some that I would not trust as far as I could throw them and then there are others that I bet my life on.   Combat separates the men from the boys.  Trust is key.  Each time that I get together with some of my comrades from combat, we tell war stories about both hairy and funny events.  We talk about all sorts of things, but mostly about friends and what they meant to us.
When I look at at some of the news reports about politicians or businessmen doing stupid and illegal things, I just wonder who were their heroes and models.  Does money mean that much?  Obviously, it does.  This next election is critical.   It will determine which direction we will go as a country.  Will it be with continued reckless spending and growth of government or will it be the opposite.  The final contenders from each political party will give us a chance to determine WHO DO YOU TRUST.  Before you cast your vote make sure that your choice is one that you trust.

The Town of Lisbon Web Site Provides Citizens With Information To Keep Them Informed Or Does It?

LISBON WEB SITE

The Town of Lisbon web site provides citizens with information to keep them informed or does it?  Information technology provides the means to keep individuals informed and up-to-date on pertinent issues.  Web sites are a cost effective method to inform vast numbers of people at the same time.  However, the information provided is only as good as the person responsible for updating the web site.

In the town of Lisbon, the web site is maintained by the Town Engineer, Ryan Leighton and the responsibility of keeping it current is the Chief Administrative Officer, Stephen (Evil) Eldridge.  The web site has a great deal of value and is already configured to provide citizens with valuable information.  One such function would be to post the Bids/RFP’s.  This is when items go out for bid and it is supposed to inform the public when the bids will be opened.  The opening of the bids in public is to ensure the process is on the up and up.  It is also required by Purchase Policy of the town.

The last bid which went out approximately three weeks ago and was never posted on the town web site.  What else was not posted was the time and place the sealed bids would be open publicly.  I have no idea why we would create a web site (which cost the taxpayer's money) and then not utilize it for what it was intended.  My only explanation is once again the management of the town (Eldridge) does not want people to know what is going on in this town.  Remember there is no transparency of government in Lisbon.

Take for instance the Agenda for Town Council meeting and workshops.  The people of Lisbon had to beg the Town Council to post the agenda on Friday with the supporting documents so the residents had time to research these items in order to speak intelligently during the Audience Participation of the meeting.  This is working out very very well but the workshop agenda is never posted and there is no supporting documentation.  I asked for this at the last council meeting.   This is not rocket science but management wants to keep the people in the dark.  “No transparency in Lisbon” is the motto of Evil Eldridge, Bowie and the puppets.

At what point should the people put a stop to this injustice?  We need to change the management of this town.  Get rid of Eldridge and in 2012 get rid of Bowie and the puppets.  It is not too soon to make our wishes known.

'We Meant Well':
An Attempt To Rebuild Iraq

Peter Van Buren was a career U.S. Foreign Service officer for more than two decades when he left for Iraq in 2009. He discovered that the success of his mission might depend on contented cows and slaughtered chickens. Host Scott Simon speaks with Van Buren about his new book, We Meant Well: How I Helped Lose the Battle for the Hearts and Minds of the Iraqi People. It's a sharp, bitter and sometimes funny account of his time embedded with the U.S. Army in Iraq.

And God created New England

Those of You who have ties to New England will appreciate this!!

God was missing for six days. Eventually, Michael, the Archangel ,found him, resting on the Seventh Day.
He inquired, "Where have you been?"

God smiled deeply and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds,"Look, Michael. Look what I've made."
Archangel Michael looked puzzled, and said, "What is it?"

"It's a planet," replied God, and I've put life on it. I'm going  to call it Earth and it's going to be a place to test Balance."

"Balance?" inquired Michael, "I'm still confused."

God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth. "For example, northern Europe will be  a place of great opportunity and wealth, while southern Europe is going to be poor.

Over here I've placed a continent of white people, and over there is a continent of black people.   Balance in all things."

God continued pointing to different countries. "This one will be extremely hot, while this one will be very cold and covered in ice.

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a small green land area jutting into the sea between the Bay of Fundy and the Atlantic Ocean , and said, "What's that one?"

"That's New England , the most beautiful place on earth.
There is rolling countryside changing color with every season, rivers and streams, lakes for fishing, forests, hills, and all around the ocean and beautiful beaches.   The people from New England are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent, and humorous, and they are going to travel the world.   They will be extremely sociable, hardworking, high achieving, carriers of peace, and producers of many good things."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration, but then asked, "But what about balance, God? You said there would be balance."

God smiled,

"Not very far from New England is a place called Washington , DC ...

Wait till you see the idiots I put there."

A Fitting Gesture For A Jester.

Stephen  Eldridge is the Biggest Joke As A Town Manager.
The chief jester has a hundred individuals available and not one capable of recording the Town Council meetings.  Is this deliberate or yet another display of  INCOMPETENCE.   IT certainly displays how much he is concerned with keeping the citizens informed.

Faye Brown hit the nail on the head with her presentation of this plant to our illustrious Chief Administrative Officer.

This council's continued support of "Evil Eldridge" has cost this community a valuable and dedicated volunteer.  The cost of this blind support is much too high.

This community cannot afford to loose anymore dedicated personnel.

Signed, The Lisbon Concerned Citizens

This was something we posted back in 2008... so Lisbon Resident's What Has Changed?

If You Address the "Issues" and "Behavior of Public Officials" In This Town, You Are Not An Engaged Citizen, You Are "Negative"

As we sat and watched the July 15th Town Council Meeting Thursday evening, it became very evident that the Town of Lisbon Advisory Board also feels quite insulted by the actions of the Town Council and the new Town Manager during this past budget season and they have for quite some time now. Mrs. Pomelow stepped forward and explained why she and the Advisory Board felt shunned and disrespected primarily because material was held so not to give them adequate time for review.

Following Mrs. Pomelow's comments, Mr. Cote addressed many of the questions we have been asking and discussing amongst ourselves but have been afraid to address because of fear of retaliation from our grossly over-budgeted police force, which consists of at least 21 full-time officers receiving an average of $50,000 per year in a town that has virtually no crime.

As the meeting progressed the Council did thank the citizens of Lisbon for the great job they did with the Moxie Festival and justly so.

Then Councilor Larochelle made comments that what Mr. Cote had brought up during the Town Council was "negative" and negativity would only raise more negativity. Councilor Larochelle then went on (practically breaking his arm) patting the Town Councilors on the back, for what they had accomplished so far as a Council.

Mr. Larochelle, we are asking you to please tell us what "positive" you would like Mr Cote to speak of? Let's back up to the first of the year:

1. You as Council got rid of Mr Lunt (at least Mr. Lunt did not raise our taxes; are they going up this fall? yes, they are!)

2. You as Council hired an ill equipped town manager that has come into Lisbon with a list of dirty laundry a mile long

3. You as Council have allowed the new Town Manager to follow out the wishes of the Police Chief and fire employees of the town for no good reason after only one month on the job

4. You as Council have allowed the new Town Manager to hire unqualified staff and give that person additional monies not warranted or deserved

5. You as Council have discussed a windmill ordinance without having knowledge of any kind but the generation of hot air over your microphones

6. You as Council have attacked our hard working Recreation Director and the MTM center, even when the citizens disagreed, and would not allow the public a fair opportunity to speak and hear our well respected Recreation Director

7. You as Council have accepted the rude, eye-rolling, condescending way the Chair conducts herself

We ask you again Mr. Larochelle. Please tell us of the positive you speak of with the present Council. The citizens see a much different picture. We see a Town Council that is dancing to the beat of a Police Chief who has become much too comfortable with his role in town politics, is calling the shots behind the scenes, and using his power to intimidate and retaliate against those who stand up to the injustices here in town. Meanwhile, you hired a phony town manager that along with the rest of the Council is suckling the Chairman like a new born.

Mr. Larochelle, open your eyes! Mrs. Pomelow and Mr. Cote are right on and we thank them for having the courage to address these difficult issues and unethical behavior.

OK so Councilor Pomelow has been less useful then tits on a boar hog!!!! Imagine That!!!!

Lisbon's Government Sanctioned Theft of Properties,(civil forfeiture, corruption, government , law enforcement, theft) Is This The Factual Information of Events?

Government Sanctioned Theft of the Motel Caswell‏

Lisbon,

Wow.

Local and Federal agencies are stealing assets from citizens to pad
their budgets and line their pockets. It's called Civil Forfeiture.

It happens all the time, but here is a stark example of what is
happening right now...
United States v. 434 Main Street, Tewksbury, Mass.
(The Motel Caswell)

Federal & Local Law Enforcement Agencies Try
to Take Family Motel from Innocent Owners

Imagine you own a million-dollar piece of property free and clear, but then the federal government and local law enforcement agents announce that they are going to take it from you, not compensate you one dime, and then use the money they get from selling your land to pad their budgetsall this even though you have never so much as been accused of a crime, let alone convicted of one.

That is the nightmare Russ Caswell and his family is now facing in Tewksbury, Mass., where they stand to lose the family-operated motel they have owned for two generations.

Seeking to circumvent state law and cash in on the profits, the Tewksbury Police Department is working with the U.S. Department of Justice to take and sell the Caswells property because a tiny fraction of people who have stayed at the Motel Caswell during the past 20 years have been arrested for crimes.  Keep in mind, the Caswells themselves have worked closely with law enforcement officials to prevent and report crime on their property.  And the arrests the government complains of represent less than .0005 percent of the 125,000 rooms the Caswells have rented over that period of time.

Despite all this, the Caswells stand to lose literally everything they have worked for because of this effort by federal and local law enforcement officials not to pursue justice, but rather to police for profit.

How widespread is the problem of civil forfeiture abuse nationwide?  In 1986, the year after the U.S. Department of Justices Asset Forfeiture Fund was createdthe fund that holds the forfeiture proceeds from properties forfeited under federal law and available to be paid out to law enforcement agenciestook in just $93.7 million.  Today it holds more than $1.6 billion.

The Institute for Justice, a national public interest law firm that fights civil forfeiture abuse nationwide, is now representing the Caswells in defense of their property and their constitutional rights.

Lisbon's Management Could Use More Then Just A Two Day Seminar About Transparency and Honesty

Peter Reuter
 The Lisbon Reporter

In case anyone ventured into the Lisbon Town Office in the recent two days and was wondering why it was so quiet with emptiness at some of the work stations.   Those that were missing were "supposedly" attending a two day workshop that was being offered by the Maine Municipal Association (MMA) in celebratory fashion for their three quarters of a 100 years in existence.

We very sincerely and honestly hope that the facts about transparency of local government was a "stark" reminder to them about how "business as usual" has been conducted in the last few years in Lisbon.  The fact that these topics were the main focus of this two day event could not have come at a more opportune time for Lisbon.

As you readers are aware, The Lisbon Concerned Citizens have been fighting for this to be a part of normal business practices for Lisbon's Administrative Management.  But has been non-existent.

Perhaps now as the tide of corruption all across this great nation begins to recede the "players" in Town government will begin to see the light.  We can only hope.  But if not, you can be be certain that we will continue to seek out and bring forth the true facts where, when, and however means it does so in fact require, to do so.

Municipal officials urged to combat growing cynicism with honesty, transparency

AUGUSTA, Maine — Hard as it may be to believe, more than 70 percent of Americans trusted federal government as recently as a half century ago.
Today, the number is closer to 20 percent.
Trust in state government is slightly higher and trust of municipal officials is higher still, but those numbers have eroded steadily over the last several years, too, as citizens grow increasingly skeptical and cynical.
Still, municipal officials — town managers, clerks, assessors, councilors and selectmen — have a unique opportunity to regain that trust because they are on the front lines and can relate to constituents on a more personal level.
That was the message Wednesday during the keynote address at the 75th annual Maine Municipal Association convention, which brought together hundreds of town and city officials from across the state.
Scott Paine, a former city councilor in Tampa, Fla., and now a national expert on local government, told Maine officials that the best way to rebuild trust with citizens is by being honest, open and fair.
“People expect us to be jerks, to abuse our power,” he said. “And sometimes all it takes is one instance and we’re all painted with the same brush.”

Re-Cap of Town Council Meeting on Tues. 10/04/11

RECAP OCT 4

Tuesday’s night Town Council meeting was an extremely sad day for the Lisbon Community.  Faye Brown, Green Thumb Gang, informed the council she was finished as a volunteer taking care of the garden for the community.  Ms. Brown cited the total lack of support from the management of the town.  She presented a very appropriate plant to the town manager.  Ladies and gentlemen, this is a must see so turn into the Town Council meeting viewing now on Channel 7 at 7:00 PM on Friday night.  Faye was first to speak so you do not have to sit through a lot to witness this devastating event.

There was an excellent presentation on Fisheries in Maine by Andrew Goode.

Liza Ward spoke for a senior citizen about the Western Maine Transportation bus.  This was discussed at the last workshop and the council is working on this problem.  As it turns out, there will be a workshop on October 25th to discuss this very issue with the management of the bus line.

Ryan Leighton presented the bids ordered by the council at the last meeting.  The bids were higher and the lowest bidder has asked to curtain the project until next spring.  The council votes to reject the bids and put the project off until next spring.

The council voted to approve the warrant on Charter Changes on the ballet in November.

The council adopted the amendment to the Purchase Order Policy.

The council approved a motion to open the bid process for the demolition of 3 Village Street and to utilize Undesignated Funds to pay for it.

On October 11, 2011 there will be a Workshop to discuss:

    Streetlight
    Fireworks Ordinance
    Marijuana  Dispenser

Councilor Mason, Social Director for the council, announced the first Moxie Day meeting for next year had been held.  Councilor Mason asked for more volunteers for upcoming events.

At this point, the meeting took a drastic turn of events.  It was supposed to be an Executive Session on Personnel Matters.  Councilor Cote asked the council do this in public but Councilor LaRochelle said he was in possession of a letter and it’s contents needed to be reviewed by the council in private.  Chairman Lunt announced the council would go into closed session to discuss if they were going to do whatever in public.  So the majority waited for the council to return so we could be briefed on what was taking place.  When the council returned and went back into session.  One of the councilors made a motion to adjourn, it was seconded and voted to adjourn.  Once again, the public waited for the council to brief us and they did not; wasting more of the public’s time.

I want to express my heart filled appreciation for the more than fifty years of dedication and faithful volunteer service to the Lisbon community by Faye Brown.  It is a crime the community lost a valuable asset because of the mismanagement by the town manager.

Middle School Girls Soccer Results, 10/06/11, PWS vs Monmouth‏

On Thursday 10/6, Lisbon Sugg Middle school girls soccer celebrated their
third victory in a row defeating the Monmouth Mustangs 2x1 at home. Defense
played with great passion by stopping the Mustang’s Forward time and time
again and keeping them tying up the game. Chandler Riordan got to the ball
just at moment numerous times. Conchita Thomas amazed the public with her
hustle and technique. Emma Lavesque kicked many balls far away from the
defense, and Sydney Douglas locked up her side of the field. Goalie Ali Sult
played a great game, making 12 fantastic saves.

Midfielders battled fearlessly to win the battle for the middle field. Left
Midfielder Abby Gamage ran tirelessly to recover the ball, assist the
forwards and take all Lisbon’s goal kicks and free kicks. Center Midfielder
Kipri Steele played aggressively to rule the center field, and Right
Midfielder Sam Buldoc made many good passes to the Forwards.

Hope Morse led the Offense line by scoring both of Lisbon’s goals. Katherin
George gave her best on the field, dribbling passing many opponents and
taking shots from long distances, at the point she left the field with both
of her knees really painful. Both Right Forwards Makayla Tilley and Emma
Houle played very well trying to assist her team mates and not giving up on
any ball.

Lisbon Sugg middle school girls soccer next game is on Tuesday, 10/11/2011
against Winthrop, on their turf.

Middle School Boys Soccer Results, 10/05/11, PWS vs Monmouth‏

Lisbon's PWS Greyhound's were edged out in a tight 1-2 match against
Monmouth's Mustangs. The fight was a persistent one with both sides
striving to remain on the offensive. The first goal scored was by #10
Mustang Hunter Richardson 12 minutes from the kick. As the game
progressed determined Greyhound defenders like rookie Fullback Jonah
Sautter held strong and returned the ball upfield for several good
attacks. Greyhound Forward Captain Nick Huston was the first to start
firing shots on goal but it wasn't until the end of the half that the
nimble feet of Striker Austin Fournier put one in the back of the net
to tie things up. The second half continued on in like fashion as each
team worked arduously in getting past the opposing teams defense. The
game seemed certain to end in a tie until once again Richardson
penetrated deep though Lisbon's defense to within scoring range,
slipping one fortunate shot past the goalie with a mere 25 seconds
remaining. Lisbon's [2-4] 'Hounds will have one practice and a 3 day
weekend to rest up for their match as they visit Winthrop's finest on
Tuesday, October 11.

Thought for the day: Philosophy For Old Age

Our love for those around us increases when we remember that we are all children of God—that we are spirit brothers and sisters. The love that results from this realization has the power to transcend all boundaries of nation, creed, color, and AGE!

Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.

Mrs. Tugball, delightfully, wanted this to be shared with the readers.
